Why Use A Broker

A Mortgage Broker is a highly specialized professional dedicated to meeting your mortgage needs. It is the responsibility of the Mortgage Broker to stay current on all the different guidelines from each lender, all the various offers and to ensure that you make an informed decision. Not unlike the Insurance Broker that you use to find the best available car, home or life insurance policy, a Mortgage Broker acts as your personal shopper to help find the best mortgage.

Why Use a Broker?

In today’s fast paced world, time is something everyone seems to lack. We want more time to relax, spend with the family, or just enjoy our favorite pastime. So why spend what’s left of your private time searching for a mortgage? To go from lender to lender, comparing different offers and negotiating rate, terms and prepayment options hoping to get the best deal in the marketplace? Is this the way to spend your free time? Wouldn’t you rather be on a family outing, playing golf or just taking a nap?

This is where a Mortgage Broker can help-to save time... and money!!!

With every Mortgage Planner at The Mortgage Centre - City Wide operating under the provincial statues of B.C. and the federal laws of Canada, you can be assured the highest degree of professionalism and integrity. As your independent Mortgage Broker we have access to most of the mortgage lenders in the Canadian marketplace. We will source out the right mortgage lender, the best rate and comparison shop for you, which save you time and money. Not being affiliated with any one lender allows us to provide you with an array of choices and options. Our sole concern is to help you find the best available mortgage financing, regardless of which lender it comes from.

What is the Cost to You For Our Service?

For traditional qualified applications, our service is at no cost to you. We are paid a finders fee by the lending institution for bringing your business to them. For non-traditional applications a brokerage or lender fee may be charged, but only with the prior written consent of the applicant.
