Born and raised in Surrey, Rowan now resides in downtown Vancouver with his wife. While growing up, he had extensive exposure to the real estate market and financing, as his father is a realtor. He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree from Kwantlen University as the top overall student in the School of Business and was subsequently awarded the Dean's Medal for his efforts. He also completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2001 and the Mortgages Course in 2005, both with honours standing.
